It's time to talk skin...
I like to look after my skin and I think it's important especially if you're a person who wears a lot of make up. A good base is needed. I think natural solutions are a good way to go. I have 3 natural products (well more than 3 but 3 of my favorite products)
The awesome three |
This is where the D.I.Y part comes in !
I was surfing through YouTube a couple of months ago in search for something to exfoliate and moisturize my skin. I was having some serious break outs and dry patches. My skin is very sensitive and the littlest thing could set my it off. I came across a great youtuber called sunkissalba who has made a series of skin care videos. I found the perfect video for me. The skin scrub, here's the LINK. It is a great little body scrub, using it for a while now I can fully say it works and would be great for anyone with sensitive skin.
The second product is natural honey. This is great for clearing skin and a face mask. There is a regular market in the center of Leeds that sells it but you can get it anywhere. I left it to solidify so it would go on easier.
Now the last product is a little weirder. It's called black soap and it is an African product. There are different types and variations from different regions in Africa. It has basic blend of ingredient like plantain skin, cocoa pod powder, tropical honey and virgin coconut oil.
It is such a good product, even though it looks like really dark clumpy mud, it is great for skin care and I use it on most days. I'd recommend it to EVERYBODY. It's for every skin type and is perfect for going back to basics.Let me know if you try any of these products and how they worked for you! ^_^
